Crow Pose – exercise #75

Crow Posel (exercise #75) SiRA Fly Yoga or Aerial Yoga.

Crow Pose Fly Yoga exercise is part of the mat exercises in Fly Yoga program.

Highlights:
  • Sit in a deep squat with knees wide apart
  • Place your hands in front of you directly below your shoulders with your fingers spread wide
  • Rest the knees on the back of your upper arms as close to your armpits as possible
  • Rise up on your toes, shift your weight forward on to your hands, and rest your shins on the back of your triceps
  • Focus the gaze at a point between your hands, looking forward at least 1 foot in front of the fingers
  • Shift your weight forward far enough so the feet naturally lift off the ground
  • Avoid pushing or jumping
  • Hold the position for several breaths
  • Release from the pose by lowering your feet back to the floor
  • Return to a squat
