Forward Somersault (exercise #122) SiRA Fly Yoga or Aerial Yoga.

Forward Somersault Fly Yoga exercise is part of the hammock exercises in Fly Yoga program.

Highlights: • Stand in front of the hammock facing forward • Grab the sides of the hammock behind you, and reach your arms out to a “T” • Adjust your grip so the hammock stretches across the back of your shoulders • Still holding the hammock, lean into a forward fold and bend your knees • Your arms will outstretch long behind you • Still holding the hammock, use a big jumping push off the feet to somersault your heels forward over your head • You will land in a seat on the hammock! Benefits: • Opens and stretches the shoulders and chest • Utilizes core strength • Is a fun, acrobatic pose • Promotes confidence
