Galloping Horse (exercise #124) SiRA Fly Yoga or Aerial Yoga.

Galloping Horse Fly Yoga exercise is part of the hammock exercises in Fly Yoga program.

Highlights: • Place one leg over the hammock so the hammock will be between the legs • As you sit down, draw the hammock fabric wide so the fabric supports the seat and the thighs • With your legs wide, bend your knees and flex your feet, legs in horse pose • Grab the side of the hammock in front of your face with both hands, gathering the fabric together • As you push your hands from your chest, draw your knees to your elbows, swing back • As you swing forward again, the legs can relax • Gather momentum and repeat, swinging front to back • After 5 swings front to back, allow the hammock to slow down • Return your feet to the ground to stand up Benefits: • Opens the hips • Stretches the groin and thighs • Strengthens the core and the hip flexors • Offers a fun swinging pose Disclaimer: Please don’t try any Fly Yoga or Aerial Yoga exercises without understanding detailed instructions that can be found on our website.
