Highlights: • Sit in the hammock with the fabric wide under your seat like a chair • Grab the sides of the hammock with the fabric in front of your shoulders • As you slowly lean back, lengthen your arms, reach your feet to the sky, and wrap your legs around the sides of the hammock • Flex your feet and securely grip the hammock with both hands and feet • Press your hips and heart away from the hammock, and gaze forward and up • Hold for 3-5 breaths • To release, round the spine, bring the hips back to the hammock • Use your arms and legs to swing back up to a seat Benefits: • Opens the shoulders, chest and front side of the thighs • Requires balance and dynamic control • Strengthens the shoulders and arms • Offers a fun, inverted back bend
