Lesson 25: Flying Lotus

What is this lesson about?

We will start this class with very powerful “love yourself” exercise. Since we are approaching end of year for this class, the kids are familiar with each other and fill more comfortable to share. Thinking and sharing what the kids love about themselves  and then hearing from others why they are so special and  great will boost their self esteem and self confidence. This exercise should be a daily routine in every family for both kids and adults.

The theme of this class will be Flying Lotus. We will introduce a set of new exercises like Baby Cradle Pose in Hammock and Flying Lotus, but as alway will also continue practicing exercises from the previous lessons. For some of the known exercise we can add some tweaks. For example, the Flying Superman exercise can be done in cooperation between few superman, making it even funnier and more exciting.

For the relaxation part we will do meditation “Talk to yourself with love” inspired by Marisa Peer. We always teach the kids the way they should speak to adults and to their friends, but we don’t teach the kids how they should speak to themselves. We all talk to ourselves all the time. Many people tend to talk to themselves mostly with negative approach.  In this mediation the kids will learn and explore the immediate effect of talking to their mind with positive approach.

We will sum up this lesson with the “Connection game -One”. The game sharpens the senses, develops concentration, creates a good mood and closeness between the participants.
