Sitting Stork Balance in Hammockr (exercise #59) SiRA Fly Yoga or Aerial Yoga.

Sitting Stork Balance in Hammock Fly Yoga exercise is part of the hammock exercises in Fly Yoga program.

Highlights:
  • Stand behind the hammock
  • Grab the sides of the hammock with both hands at shoulder height
  • Lift the right leg, bend the knee, and place the right shin in the hammock
  • Sit down on right leg in the hammock
  • Lift the left leg and cross the left ankle to the right thigh, outside the hammock
  • Bring the right hand in front of the hammock strap to hold it
  • Bring the left hand in front of the hammock strap to make contra
  • Join palms together at heart center and balance
  • Hold for 3-5 breaths
  • To release, first grip the sides of the hammock with the hands, then return the left foot to the ground
  • Release the right foot to the ground
  • Repeat on the other side
