Sitting Stork Balance in Hammock Fly Yoga exercise is part of the hammock exercises in Fly Yoga program.
Highlights:- Stand behind the hammock
- Grab the sides of the hammock with both hands at shoulder height
- Lift the right leg, bend the knee, and place the right shin in the hammock
- Sit down on right leg in the hammock
- Lift the left leg and cross the left ankle to the right thigh, outside the hammock
- Bring the right hand in front of the hammock strap to hold it
- Bring the left hand in front of the hammock strap to make contra
- Join palms together at heart center and balance
- Hold for 3-5 breaths
- To release, first grip the sides of the hammock with the hands, then return the left foot to the ground
- Release the right foot to the ground
- Repeat on the other side
- Requires core stabilization
- Requires balance
- Stretches the thighs and outer hip
