Star Twist – exercise #34

Highlights: • Sit in the hammock like a swing, with the cloth covering from the top of the thigh to the lower back • Lean back, spread the legs wide and wrap them around the straps of the hammock • Keep leaning back until the head points toward the floor, hooking the feet around the straps also • Release the hands toward the floor • Move side-to-side several times and explore the twist Benefits: • Loosens back muscles • Decompresses spine • Stretches muscles along the sides of the body
